LET'S MAKE SOME LEGAL ORDER  IN THIS AREA AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE:

• Every year in Serbia, 106 000 tons of used motor oil is replaced from over 500 000 motorized vehicles
• Since there is no system in Serbia for proper managment and handling with used motor oil almost the entire amount is being spilled into the enviroment or burned in an unregular way.
• Used motor oil is hard to remove and contains toxic chemicals and heavy metals. It takes long for it to decompose. It sticks to everything, from the sand on the beach, to bird feathers. Used motor oil is a great source of contamination of waterways and can result in contamination of drinking water.
• According to experts (USEPA) one gallonr of spilled used motor oil can contaminate up to one milion gallons of water
• In developed countries, used motor oil is being recycled because from 4.5 gallons of used oil you can get the same ammount of new oil as from 190 gallons of crude oil. Also, this oil is being used as an alternative fuel and in that way the natural resources are being preserved and necessary funds for  energy resources are being cut.
